The Russian helicopter landed in front of Phil's cabin. Jean-Marc had been warned of their arrival. The phone call from Dubai a few weeks earlier had not surprised him either.

They sat on the porch and sipped Pacherenc.

"Did you ever see that Richard Gere film where, at the end, instead of dismantling the shipping company he had just purchased he decided to invest and develop it and build new ships?" the Russian asked.

"Yeh, that was Pretty Woman with Julia Roberts."

"Well that's what I want to do, we'll invest in the Gourmet Foods business and turn out real quality articles that will be on shelves in shops all over the world next to caviar and Louis Vuitton bags. The profit margin on luxury goods is huge, we just need to re-orientate the existing brand up market and organize better quality. I need your help to do this...?"

Jean-Marc looked away. There was a girl standing on the deck in front of the cabin across the field, she looked vaguely familiar. He wondered if she had come in the helicopter or from somewhere else. She seemed to be waving madly at him, the others hadn't noticed her.

"I'll think about it" Jean-Marc replied.

He had a strange feeling that a different kind of adventure awaited him elsewhere....
